The position of SRC Women’s Commissioner is an elected Position that can be vied for by only female students. She is responsible for organizing all women activities for cental university students on and off campus.
The SRC Women’s Commissioner shall upon assumption of office, set up a Women Commission made up of not more that four (4) other members, to assist her in the performance of her duties.
There is at least one representative from every campus of the University on the Women’s Commision.
The SRC Women’s Commissioner shall together with the members of the Women’s Commission perform the following functions
We provide businesses with all financial services including consultations, financial analysis of the enterprise, accounting service, auditing and contract regulation.
We provide businesses with all financial services including consultations, financial analysis of the enterprise, accounting service, auditing and contract regulation.
Serve a link between female students of the University and other female groups both in Ghana and outside Ghana, with the view of sharing ideas and strategies in women’s issues
Work hand-in-hand with officials of the University’s clinic
Advice the SRC President, the Executive Council and the Parliament on issues concerning women
Perform any other functions assigned to them by Parliament, the Executive Council or the SRC President
Support female students in seeking their rights and offer an enabling platform for monitoring discriminatory and unfair practices against female students with the view of seeking redress in appropriate cases
